Your Career at Zeros

Zeros GmbH has stood for precise and reliable materials testing since 1995. As an independent testing laboratory accredited to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 with multiple locations, we offer our employees a secure professional environment and the opportunity to become part of an experienced and friendly team.

Current openings: At our Berlin site we are looking for two incoming goods quality inspectors (m/f/d). All positions are full-time:

The NDT inspector positions require Level 2 qualification and certification to DIN EN ISO 9712; if your German isn't perfect yet, we support you with a German language course. Each position has its own online application link, or you can email your application to jobs@zeros-gmbh.de.

We work in a structured, solution-oriented manner and on equal footing. At the same time, we place great importance on the continued development of our staff: further training and qualifications are a given and actively supported. Those who want to grow will find the support they need – professionally and personally.

We also welcome career changers with technical interest. What matters most to us is a reliable, careful work ethic and the willingness to learn new tasks. Our projects are diverse, the work areas varied – whether in the lab, on-site with clients, or during evaluation.

As a growing company, we offer long-term prospects, fair compensation, and a respectful working atmosphere. If you're interested in a career in materials testing and are looking for an employer that combines reliability with development opportunities, we look forward to receiving your application – unsolicited applications are also welcome.

Can I join Zeros as a career changer?

Career changers with an interest in technology are welcome at Zeros; what matters is a reliable, careful way of working and the willingness to learn new tasks. According to the job ad, you don’t need to know everything about destructive and non-destructive testing yet for the technical sales position in Berlin; you receive thorough onboarding into Zeros’ technical services, and sales experience is an advantage. The job ad for the two incoming goods quality inspector (m/f/d) positions in Berlin does not require certification to DIN EN ISO 9712, but it does require technical vocational training or experience in quality assurance, materials testing or incoming goods inspection, plus experience with measuring equipment and technical drawings. The NDT inspector / materials tester (m/f/d) positions, by contrast, require Level 2 qualification and certification to DIN EN ISO 9712.

How do I apply to Zeros GmbH?

Each advertised position on zeros-gmbh.de has its own online application link; alternatively, you can email your application to jobs@zeros-gmbh.de or send it by post to ZEROS GmbH, Attn. Hosseinzadeh, Alexander-Meißner-Str. 34, 12526 Berlin, Germany. For the NDT inspector / materials tester (m/f/d) positions, the job ads simply ask you to send your CV. If you have any questions, you can reach Bahar Hosseinzadeh from Recruiting at +49 30 67809990. Unsolicited applications are also welcome.

What qualifications do NDT inspectors (m/f/d) need at Zeros?

For the advertised NDT inspector / materials tester (m/f/d) positions, Zeros requires Level 2 qualification and certification to DIN EN ISO 9712 in RT, MT, UT, PT or VT, plus a category B driving licence. The railway position requires certification in MT and UT in the IrW railway sector; the position for forged and cast components requires certification in MT, UT, PT and VT, experience in NDT of forged and cast parts (large components), experience in weld inspection and willingness to travel worldwide. If your German isn’t perfect yet, Zeros supports you with a German language course in these positions.

Does Zeros support further training and certifications?

Yes, further training and qualifications are actively supported at Zeros – through internal training, external certifications and support for attending specialist seminars. Qualifications in RT, UT, MT and PT are specifically promoted, with individual career paths from entry level to experienced specialist. Zeros’ NDT personnel are certified to DIN EN ISO 9712, and Zeros itself is a testing laboratory accredited to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025.

What does an incoming goods inspector (m/f/d) do at Zeros?

Incoming goods quality inspectors (m/f/d) at Zeros carry out incoming goods, visual and dimensional inspections of incoming components according to inspection plans and specifications, document the inspection results in Excel and mark the components as released or blocked according to the result. The role also includes creating and processing quality notifications, identifying and reporting deviations and recurring defects, and maintaining the work and inspection area according to 5S, working closely with incoming goods, logistics and quality assurance. Zeros is currently looking for two full-time inspectors for this role at its Berlin site. Requirements are technical vocational training or experience in quality assurance, materials testing or incoming goods inspection, experience with measuring equipment and technical drawings, and good written and spoken German.

What does Zeros offer its employees?

All advertised positions are full-time; the NDT inspector / materials tester and incoming goods quality inspector (m/f/d) positions are advertised with a permanent employment contract and an attractive salary. Depending on the position, further benefits include a company car and a German language course (NDT positions), health management (most NDT positions and the incoming goods quality inspector positions), and an attractive salary and bonus scheme plus a company car that can also be used privately (technical sales). The position for forged and cast components also lists, among other things, a company pension scheme, flexitime and, on request, a rental flat after you are hired. Depending on the position and area of deployment, Zeros offers flexible working models, including the option of mobile working.

Where are the jobs at Zeros located?

Zeros has its main sites in Berlin (Alexander-Meißner-Straße 34), Bavaria (Schmidgaden) and Baden-Württemberg (Dielheim). The two incoming goods quality inspector (m/f/d) positions and the technical sales position are based in Berlin; in sales, you regularly travel from there to customers and to Zeros’ locations in Germany. NDT inspector / materials tester (m/f/d) positions are advertised for Bavaria and Thuringia, for Baden-Württemberg, Hesse and North Rhine-Westphalia, and Germany-wide. Depending on the position and area of deployment, you work in the laboratory, in the field directly at customers’ sites or in evaluation.
