Is Zeros GmbH approved for testing railway components?

Yes. The NDT inspection body of Zeros GmbH is confirmed by the inspection body of DB Systemtechnik as conforming to DIN 27201-7 (non-destructive testing of rail vehicles) – registration number DB-52-AB-319-1-22, listed in the DGZfP register until 28 February 2027. The recognition covers five methods: visual testing (VT), magnetic particle testing (MT), ultrasonic testing (UT), penetrant testing (PT) and radiographic testing (RT) – on railway components such as wheelset axles (hollow and solid), wheels, bogie frames, draw hooks and buffers. The testing personnel is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9712 in the railway industry sector; Zeros is also a full member of the German Railway Industry Association (VDB).
